I found this album in Mumbai in a shop and few days back I heard
him at Nehru Center, Mumbai, as I met Bhattacharya, to me each piece
of song is related so closely to different human emotions in LOVE,
that some times it seems to me closing my eyes, I am experiencing
the romance in it's highest form of Music. Alaap in Kirwani is divine
and spiritual, In compositions there are so many colours of sparkle,
one should not miss it, almost unreal. What a tonal personality
of this instrument, it sounds like a whole symphony on a slide Guitar;
a timeless and priceless creation of Artiste. Later I found this
is not his only album, there are a few, from past. The last piece
Bengali Folk Song to me all time great music, one can not stop crying
hearing it, one of the most powerful Master Musicians on Earth !
Simply a rare release of Indian Instrumental. I also came to know
Debashish Bhattacharya is a highly creative artiste through MSN
search. He has created a Trinity of slide Guitars
